Overview
THQA2, THQM2, and THQT2 Hybrid Wet Tantalum capacitors utilize the same base capacitor: a 0.60" round diameter footprint with a 0.274" height. Voltage ratings range from 10V to 125V. This series’ compact form factor makes it ideal for volume-constrained applications.
- The THQA2 style features a legacy terminal configuration that requires spacing for the positive terminal. Please see the datasheet for details.
- The THQM2 style addresses the spacing requirements of the THQA2 by mounting the capacitor in a case. THQM2 capacitors can be mounted to the PCB without modification, but they are a volumetrically larger option.
- The THQT2 style is the recommended option and features a terminal configuration that does not require terminal spacing or unique mounting. THQT2 capacitors come ready to assemble directly to the PCB.
