Overview
Paktron’s CB4G Series is a second generation high-frequency switching power supply capacitor series designed for 48 volt bus input and output applications. Built with non-polarized multilayer polymer film technology, the CB4G Series combines high capacitance, low impedance, and high ripple current capability in a compact surface-mount package.
The CB4G Series is engineered for switching power trains above 100 kHz and reflected RFI filtering. Its self-healing metallized polyester construction helps avoid shorts, making it a reliable alternative to ceramic and tantalum capacitors in elevated-voltage applications. With surface-mount gull-wing leads, a flat pick-and-place-compatible package, and operation from -55 °C to +125 °C, CB4G capacitors are well suited for compact, high-density power electronics designs.
