Paktron’s CB4G-FS and CB6G-FS Capstick® capacitors are third-generation, thermally shielded multilayer polymer film capacitors designed for high-frequency power conversion applications. The series provides a compact, non-polarized film capacitor solution for 48 V bus input and output filtering, switching power supplies, DC-to-DC converters, and reflected RFI filtering.

The Capstick® design combines low ESR/ESL construction, high ripple current capability, and self-healing metallized PET film technology in a surface-mount package. These capacitors are well suited for applications where designers need a reliable alternative to ceramic and tantalum capacitors at elevated voltage, especially in high-frequency switching power trains above 100 kHz.
