Over time, those capabilities were unified under Quantic, bringing complementary technologies and teams into a shared portfolio focused on mission-critical electronics.
As our capacitor portfolio grew, we evolved how we present these businesses to customers. Today, we bring these brands together as Evans Group—a clearer, customer-friendly way to explore complementary technologies across our portfolio. This approach makes it easier to navigate our full range of capacitor solutions while preserving the expertise, heritage, and trusted relationships each company has earned over decades.
How each brand arrived here
November 19, 2020 — Arcline Investment Management acquired Evans Capacitor Company, establishing the initial foundation for the capacitor platform.
January 13, 2021 — Arcline announced the formation of Quantic, a platform created to provide mission-critical electronics components for high-value applications.
June 30, 2021 — Quantic announced the acquisition of Union Technology Corporation (UTC), expanding the portfolio in multilayer ceramic capacitors and assemblies.
September 2, 2021 — Quantic announced the acquisition of Paktron Capacitors, adding multilayer polymer film capacitor capability and U.S. manufacturing depth.
June 6, 2022 — Quantic announced the addition of Eulex Components’ capacitor technology, strengthening high-frequency ceramic capacitor capabilities for RF/microwave and millimeter-wave applications.
January 1, 2026 - Evans Group launched unifying Evans, Paktron, UTC, and Eulex under a single customer-facing umbrella—to make it easier for customers to discover and compare complementary capacitor technologies across our portfolio. Each brand continues to operate with its dedicated teams, deep application expertise, and established customer relationships, while benefiting from shared resources and aligned processes that strengthen support and consistency.
